Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Since its founding in 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been committed to providing cancer-stricken adults and children twith today's best treatments while developing tomorrow’s cures through cutting-edge research. It is dedicated to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art treatment to children with cancer and developing the cancer preventives, treatments and cures of the future.
Today the institute, which is internationally renowned, employs nearly 4,000 people and is involved in about 700 clinical trials. The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute also is a principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
